Caterina Pieras is an outstanding chef. We thoroughly enjoy our summer visits to her restaurant Daica in Llubí, Mallorca. With excellent local products, its cuisine is traditional and modern, constantly evolving thanks to the knowledge and wisdom of Caty, while her husband, David Ribas, runs the dining room. Caty created a refreshing dessert inspired by local cocktail, 'Ginet de Ciutadella'. "La Pomada" is the name given by islanders to this popular summer blend.
