“Meng Peak Sweet Dew”. This greeen tea from Mt. Meng in Sichuan where Ganlu, a legendary buddhist monk is said to have planted China’s first tea on the Shangqing Peak of Mengshan. On a tour of inspection in 1506, Ming Emperor Zhengde was so pleased with this tea that he decreed it a Tribute tea.
