The tea areas are nestling in the foothills of snow covered Himalayan range at an altitude of 7000 ft, primarily in the eastern regions of Nepal that are known for producing quality orthodox tea, which are Ilam, Panchthar, Dhankuta, Terathum, Sindhupalchok and Kaski.

In spring time the tea gardens bear its first flush with clear climate and min 9.96°C and max 19.64°C temperature, producing a light tea with a soft flavour and aroma. The second flush brings full bodied tea with a frutier flavour when the temperature reaches a max. 23ºC temperature. These second flush teas bear a very good carácter, bright infusion with silver tips.

Then comes monsoon season when the weather is cloudy and this season is pollution free in the surroundings, rainfall and soil gives a coloury cup and more strength as a result of moisture content which are most suitable for a cup of tea.

The autumn season, producing the royal batch of teas, when the temperature is around min 9.85°C and max 19.6°C, bearing a cold clear sky climate.
These autumnal teas present an amber liquor cup with a very sweet flavour and rich aroma.
