Pumpkin Chai

Each region, each Hindu family has its own recipe for spices (masala) handed down from mothers to daughters with whom they have helped heal their relatives for centuries. With the arrival of the British, this Ayurvedic tradition was joined with the English "tea time", thus creating the Masala Chai by mixing the milk and sugar with the spices and tea.
Today, ubiquitous in the daily life of India, it has become a drink appreciated throughout the world.
