Assam Mokalbari EAST OR. 422

Mokalbari Tea Estate, situated in northern Assam, takes its name from 'a garden of tall bamboos'.
Since 1876 Mokalbari has been producing teas from special varieties of tea plants they have developed, the green leaves from these are also essential for the production of what is known as Golden Tippy Teas:
Full-bodied, aroma of strong liquor, soft and malty flavor.

RFA certification commits them to preserving biodiversity and ensuring sustainable livelihoods through land use, business practices and consumer behavior.
They are also members of the ETP, a non-profit organization of tea companies that share the vision of a thriving industry that is socially and environmentally fair.
