Lemon Verbena

This Lemon Verbena is grown by the Msuwadzmi Small Holders Association, a group of 200 small farmers that, with the help of Satemwa Tea Estates, has achieved Fair Trade, UTZ and Rainforest Alliance certification. Satemwa collaborates with farmers to cultivate and harvest herbs, flowers and specialty teas.

Their lands are located in the high plateau of the Shire Highlands in the town of Thyolo, south of Malawi. Producers collect the leaves by hand with the greatest of care. The leaves are then dried both in the sun and with a dryer.
